"Rejecting the Metal Shield, Fort Mackenzie 1835" (c) by Z.S. Liang.
In this 46" x 72" painting we created the wrapped-horn ermine headdress worn by the figure standing under the flag. We also made the tube style pistol holster on the trader's hip and assembled the pistol that is in the holster from a kit. www.liangstudio.com

"Mother's Hands" (c) by Martin Grelle
"Cheyenne Wood Gatherer" (c) by Martin Grelle
"Pride of the Plains" (c) by Martin Grelle
This is one of my favorite paintings from Martin. Not just because we are honored to have some of our work in it but just because i like it. Martin was the first western artist we did work for which started about 3 years ago. We made the shield, the bowcase and arrow quiver and the knife and sheath on his right hip. Painting is 32" x 36.
Additional artist's works will be displayed as soon as the images become available to us.
Replica To Art is a page dedicated to showing how our historically accurate artifact replicas which have been purchased by western artists are used in their paintings and sculptures. As time goes by, new work and new artists will be added. In addition, other ways and locations where our work is used or displayed will be shown. We consider it an honor to be just a small part of such wonderful art! Since our creations are considered art themselves, pieces are signed, numbered and dated.
Photos of the art are not shown in any preferred order or date of completion....we add them as they come to us. All photos are used with permission and are copyrighted by the artist and may not be copied without permission of the artist.
